These unique beads are made from borosilicate glass, known for its strength and clarity. Unlike traditional soft-glass lampwork beads, borosilicate glass has a higher melting point and requires a hotter flame, allowing for incredibly detailed work and enhanced durability. These are still considered lampwork beads, but made with a different type of glass that offers greater resistance to thermal shock and breakage.

Please note: Borosilicate glass beads tend to be lighter in weight and may have a slightly different feel compared to traditional soft-glass lampwork.
